REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Welcome to Skillzy Young Scholars. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms governing payments, cancellations, rescheduling, tutor changes, and refunds for all educational services provided by Skillzy Young Scholars ("Skillzy", "we", "our", or "us").

By enrolling in any Skillzy Young Scholars program, students and parents/guardians acknowledge and agree to this policy.

1. CLASS PACKAGES

Skillzy Young Scholars provides live online educational classes through prepaid class packages, including but not limited to:

• 25-Class Package
• 50-Class Package
• 100-Class Package

Students must purchase a class package before attending regular classes.
Unused classes remain available in the student's account subject to the applicable enrollment period and academic schedule.

2. NO REFUND POLICY

All payments made to Skillzy Young Scholars are final and non-refundable.

Refunds will not be provided for:

• Change of mind after enrollment
• Lack of attendance
• Scheduling conflicts
• Failure to utilize purchased classes
• Student relocation or change in circumstances
• Dissatisfaction after classes have been conducted
• Dissatisfaction with a tutor after enrollment, as tutor reassignment options are available through our Tutor Change Request process
• Voluntary withdrawal from a program

Parents and students are encouraged to carefully review program details before purchasing any class package.

3. REFUND EXCEPTIONS

Refunds may only be considered in the following circumstances:

A. Duplicate Payments

If a parent or student is charged more than once for the same transaction due to a technical or processing error, the duplicate amount will be refunded after verification.

B. Payment Processing Errors

If an incorrect payment is processed due to a technical issue attributable to the payment system, Skillzy Young Scholars will investigate the matter and issue a refund where appropriate.

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.

4. STUDENT CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY

Students or parents may request cancellation or rescheduling of a class by notifying Skillzy Young Scholars at least two (2) hours before the scheduled class time.

When proper notice is provided:

• The class will not be deducted from the student's package.
• The class will be added back to the student's remaining class balance.
• The class may be rescheduled based on tutor availability.

5. LATE CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY

If a student fails to attend a scheduled class and does not provide at least two (2) hours' advance notice:

• The class will be considered conducted.
• The class will be deducted from the student's purchased package.
• No refund, replacement, or additional credit will be provided.

This policy helps ensure fair scheduling and protects tutor availability.

6. CANCELLATION BY SKILLZY YOUNG SCHOLARS

If Skillzy Young Scholars cancels a scheduled class for any reason, including tutor unavailability or technical difficulties:

• The class will be rescheduled, OR
• The class will be credited back to the student's remaining class balance.

No monetary refund will be provided for such cancellations unless required by applicable law.

7. TUTOR CHANGE REQUESTS

Skillzy Young Scholars strives to provide the best possible learning experience for every student.

If a student or parent is not satisfied with the assigned tutor, they may request a tutor change by contacting our support team.

Upon approval of the request:

• The student will receive one (1) complimentary demo class with each newly assigned tutor.
• Demo classes provided for tutor evaluation will not be deducted from the student's purchased class balance.
• The student may evaluate available tutor options before making a final selection.
• Regular class deductions will begin only after the student confirms enrollment with the newly selected tutor.
• Skillzy Young Scholars reserves the right to determine tutor availability and assign suitable alternatives based on scheduling and academic requirements.

Tutor change requests do not qualify for refunds and will be handled through the reassignment process described above.

8. TECHNICAL ISSUES

In the event of significant technical issues by Skillzy Young Scholars affecting a class session, Skillzy Young Scholars may, at its sole discretion:

• Reschedule the affected class, or
• Credit the class back to the student's balance.

Minor internet disruptions on the student's side will not automatically qualify for replacement classes.

9. FORCE MAJEURE

Skillzy Young Scholars shall not be responsible for delays, interruptions, rescheduling, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Internet outages
• Power failures
• Natural disasters
• Government restrictions
• Public emergencies
• Third-party service interruptions
• Other unforeseen events

In such circumstances, classes may be rescheduled where reasonably possible.

10. POLICY CHANGES

Skillzy Young Scholars reserves the right to modify or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.

Any updates will become effective upon publication on our website or learning platform.
